Guarding Your Christian Heritage
(5-Part Weekend Seminar)

FRIDAY EVENING

William Wallace Braveheart: Guarding Your Godly Freedom
Message 1 (7:00 - 8:30 p.m.)

Learn the true story behind William Wallace, the God-fearing Scottish freedom fighter, such as Hollywood never dared to tell. In authentic 13th and 14th century costume, sword, and chain mail, “Little Bear” reveals the Christ-like character of this highly principled man of convictions, who led Scotland’s liberation from tyranny. Drawing from the struggle of the heroic Scottish patriots, “Little Bear” Wheeler presents the history of Great Britain as it pertains to Scotland's strategic role in influencing America’s own struggle for independence in the founding of “one nation under God.”

SATURDAY

Sergeant York: Guarding Your Spiritual Life
Message 2 (9:00 - 10:30 a.m.)

Dressed in full World War I 82nd All-American Division uniform, Richard “Little Bear” Wheeler vividly portrays the life of Alvin York from his obscure boyhood in Tennessee, to his famed exploits in France during World War I. While under fierce enemy fire, Corporal Alvin York single-handedly captured an entire German command center and became the most decorated war hero of the Great War. As “Little Bear” dramatically documents the account in first person, you will be moved not only to give honor to a legendary war hero, but you will be compelled to give glory to the Almighty God for this miraculous deliverance. This has become one of “Little Bear’s” most requested messages as it applies to the call for spiritual active duty for all Christians of all ages. Message available on video!

15-minute break

Sergeant Driscoll: Guarding Your Home
Message 3 (10:45 - 12:00 noon)

Far too many American families have let down their guard in their own homes, all in the guise of entertainment. By unwittingly allowing an invasion of violent, perverted, or even occult messages from the enemy to enter their homes via the Trojan horse of the airwaves, they thereby unsuspectingly contribute to the potential destruction of the innocence of their own precious children. While drawing from 24 years of experience in family ministry, Rev. Wheeler will communicate the responsibility of Christian parents and grandparents from a Biblical perspective concerning this perilous issue. By means of a dramatic account from the Civil War, parents will be encouraged and motivated, once again, to raise a standard in their own personal lives and in the lives of their children. Suitable for mature young adult and adult audiences. Message available on video!

Lunch Break: 12:00 noon - 1:00 p.m.

Second Lt. Bill Brown: Guarding Your Multi-Generational Blessing
Message 4 (1:10 - 2:45 p.m.)

Dressed in authentic World War II 82nd Airborne Division uniform, Richard “Little Bear” Wheeler recounts the Divine rescue mission of 2nd Lt. William Edward Brown, Jr. As a P-51 Mustang fighter pilot for Army Air Corp 45th Fighter Squadron, Bill Brown was shot down over Tokyo Harbor on May 29, 1944. Riveting testimony of the recent “rescue” of Lt. Brown’s son involving Divine protection during the terrorist attack on the Pentagon, serves to illustrate the continued Providence of God. By drawing from his own family’s personal video archive, “Little Bear” draws a compelling parallel for building a multi-generational heritage in our daily Christian family life. The resulting message proves to be suitable and inspirational for all ages.

15-minute break

Washington’s Battle of Long Island: Guarding Your Nation
Message 5 (3:00 - 4:00 p.m.)

Just after King George III received the Declaration of Independence from the colonists, he was “fit to be tied.” He mustered up England's finest war general, General Howe, along with twenty-eight thousand British soldiers, and sent them to New York Harbor to persuade the Americans to surrender their “foolish ideas of independence.” Little did King George realize that the American stand against tyranny would be a bitter “fight to the finish.” In the latter part of August 1776, under General Washington, the Americans found themselves face to face with General Howe. “Little Bear” retells the outcome of the Battle of Long Island in period uniform. It will become obvious why the Battle of Long Island should be remembered, instead, as the Miracle of Long Island. Suitable for all ages. Message available on video!

SUGGESTED ALTERNATE SEMINAR MESSAGES
AND/OR OPTIONAL SUNDAY SERVICES

T.R.’s Charge!
President Theodore Roosevelt: Guarding Your Homeland

From the Rough Riders’ exploits of San Juan Hill to the halls of the White House, Theodore Roosevelt led the charge to build a defensive shield on foreign and US soil and sea that would guard our homeland. Under T.R.’s watch, America built a defensive military presence that would be felt worldwide that would eventually prepare us for the challenges of involvement in World War I. “Little Bear’s” portrayal and presentation of Roosevelt’s vision serves to inspire our continued diligence in building and maintaining a defensive system that will guard our beloved homeland for the sake of the generations to come.

God’s Mighty Hand: Guarding Your Patriotic Call

Dressed in World War II combat uniform, Richard “Little Bear” Wheeler recounts the providential involvement of God’s mighty hand in the miraculous rescue of American servicemen while confronted with desperate, life-threatening circumstances. “Little Bear” demonstrates the importance of our patriotic responsibility to teach our children and grandchildren to cherish and preserve their national freedom as a priceless gift from the men and women who have served in sacrificial defense of our nation. As we face an unparalleled future of uncertainty, “Little Bear” vividly illustrates how God is still in providential control of the destiny of our nation and those who are called according to His purpose.

Captain Miles Standish: Guarding Your Home

Far too many American families have let down their guard in their own homes, all in the guise of entertainment. By unwittingly allowing an invasion of violent, perverted, or even occult messages from the enemy to enter their homes via the Trojan horse of the airwaves, they thereby unsuspectingly contribute to the potential destruction of the innocence of their own precious children. While drawing from 24 years of experience in family ministry, Rev. Wheeler will communicate the responsibility of Christian parents and grandparents from a Biblical perspective concerning this perilous issue. By means of a dramatic presentation of our principled Pilgrim Forefathers, parents will be encouraged and motivated, once again, to raise a standard in their own personal lives and in the lives of their children. Suitable for mature young adult and adult audiences.
